Well of Life is a social responsibility programme organised by ASEAN Business Association in association with Lion Club KL Elite & Angel Boss Group to alleviate poverty and improve the quality of life by donating well  in the provinces of Cambodia.  

 

In Cambodia, there’s around 80% of population still lives in rural villages and 40% of them have no access to clean water. Without clean water, children are easy to get sick and their parents unable to tend to their vegetable garden or fish pond. Life will not improve.

 

We at ASEAN Business Association want to help to change this. As a member of Cambodia’s business community, we want to do our part to give back to the community. By building wells in poor rural villages with no access to clean water, we can immediately help to change their life for the better.  ASEAN Business Association in partnership with Lions Club Elite is running Corporate Social Responsibility Campaign call Well of Life.

 

Starting with the province of Kampong Cham, we will be working with the local government and village offices to identify the areas in need of clean water. With manpower support from K-Link Angel Boss’s network, we will help the villagers build the wells and educate the villagers how to maintain the well so that they have continues clean water usage. Our target is to build at least 30 handpump well in the next 1 year.

ASEAN Business Association has : 

• Successfully built 10 wells in Phum Sramar of Skun District in Kampong Cham.

• Built over a period of 2 months (February - April 2020)

• Established coordination with local commune head & community as well as well construction company with the support of Angel Boss Group
